At Heart K we proudly contribute to the BLM’s efforts to gentle, train and find lasting homes for mustangs and burros. We have come to know the American mustang as an overlooked gem in a papered horse world, capable of excelling at all disciplines. On a working ranch, in the arena, or as a trail rider’s closest companion.
Follow our available mustangs and their progress, or inquire about specific age, gender and other qualities you are looking for. While we may not always have burros available, we are always delighted to pick one up for you!
We encourage the inexperienced adopter to work side by side with us and your mustang. A full understanding of the process these horses are going through is pivotal to a continued successful relationship. When you adopt from us, our model ensures you are set up for success before you take your horse home, and have ongoing access to support afterwards. If you are far away, we are not only accessible by phone, but will help connect you with somebody closer to your area for assistance.
